On Friday, March 10, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association and New Jersey Business Magazine honored VERSA with the 3rd Annual NJBIA/NJBM Manufacturing Award. VERSA was among nine companies in the state being recognized for their longevity and contributions to manufacturing in NJ, the US, and the globe. VERSA President & CEO Jan Larsson accepted the award.
The companies selected for this award range in size from small to, mid-sized and large throughout New Jersey. These businesses represent a diversity of quality products that improve the lives of millions worldwide.
VERSA Products Co., Inc. is a global engineering and manufacturing company specializing in solenoid, pilot and manual actuated directional control valves and related components. Its ongoing dedication to innovation and its field-proven products have positioned the company as a driving force in fluid power and valve automation markets. Founded in 1949 by Carl Carlson, Karl Larsson, Frank and Robert Engstrom, and Howard Meyer, VERSA remains true to its roots and continues to build its reputation on quality, responsive customer service, and technical expertise. Today, VERSA is owned and operated by the founders’ families and employs more than 140 people at its headquarters/manufacturing facility in Paramus.
